*Send me your consultant resume and contact details……ASAP* * * *Sr. SAP PP Consultant (Need VERY Senior level)* *Location: High Point, NC* *Start Date: ASAP * *Duration: 6+ months* * * * * *SAP PP Senior Consultant * * * *Needed ASAP * * * * Job Description: * * * * *SAP Functional Consultant with strong SAP consulting experience in logistic modules PP, PP-PI, APO * * * * (PP/DS), MM and QM with preferred experience in Manufacturing Industry and Automotive Industry. * * * * PP: Basic Data, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), Shop Floor Control (SFC), Repetitive Manufacturing (REM), Serial Numbers, Integration aspects with MM, SD, QM * * * PP-PI: Material Master, Batch, Production Version, Resources, Master Recipes, SOP, MRP, Process Order, Process Order Management, Classification System, PI Sheet * * * * APO (PP/DS): Product View, Product Planning Table, Detailed Scheduling Board, Reports, Resource Planning Table * * * * MM: Organization Structure, Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchase Info Record, Source List, Purchase Requisition Cycle, Purchase Order Cycle, RFQ Cycle, Inventory management, Stock Transport Order (STO), Integration aspects with QM and PP * * * * * *Here is the detailed "job description" for the PP consultant we are looking for: * * * * * For Fabrication (make to stock), we'll use: * * * * - standard SAP capacity scheduling * * * * - goods issue automated from a customized transaction * * * * - production order confirmations will also be triggered from the customized transaction * * * *- goods receipt automated from a customized transaction (I'm not sure this is complete) * * * * - standard SAP external processing and subcontracting * * * * - manually convert planned orders to production orders * * * * - ~7000 active Fab parts for production * * * * - ~12000 service parts (Fab makes) * * * * - Currently, no alternate routing or BOMs, so no production versions in current system (will have to be added for SAP) * * * * - ~80 workcenters for Fab, same intervals and shifts for all * * * * - at migration, we anticipate ~500 WIP work orders to migrate; will need program to upload (if it's already done, I haven't seen it yet) * * * * We're using APO for scheduling assembly line production. No BOMs in APO. Nightly MRP job. * * * * Our solution includes a development for kitted parts (Not complete yet; requires quite a bit of work from what I understand) * * * * - Kit parts from the warehouse, Fab and from suppliers (harnesses, mirrors, etc) * * * * - Kit # will have to be created for some kits, so the parts in the kit can will received at the kit level instead of receiving each individual component * * * * - ~9900 parts included * * * * Customized transaction for planning parts since our planning group plans by commodity instead of by plant * * * * The SAP Functional Consultant will work with functional business experts to develop SAP applications. Consultant will be expected to learn on the go and work on both new requests/projects as well as supporting production support. The role will include supporting the local and global community, developing functional designs, making configuration changes, and testing SAP application developments. Responsibilities include: Design, code, component and assembly test new development, maintenance and enhancement requests. Providing deep functional & technical expertise to the team for SAP work process, applications & products. Assisting in definition of functional requirements. Helping ensure detailed project requirements are defined and managed. Performing functional & environment design and configuration. Perform adaptive & preventative maintenance planning & implementation. Responding to and perform impact analysis on incoming service requests. Assist with estimating new development and enhancement requests. Work with Service Support Manager to prioritize service requests and to resolve support issues based on service level agreements. Work with the client to understand business needs and objectives and assist in the design and implementation of new solutions. Review and clarify requirements, and develop designs to support defined business requirements, participate in detailed design reviews, review test plans, and provide technical guidance and support to other team members. Track performance and report progress against work package and team goals. Participate in process improvement efforts. Build strong relationships with the business partners. *Basic Qualifications:* Minimum of 10+ years of SAP functional experience in at least one of the following areas: FI, CO, PS, SD, MM, IM, WM, PP, and CS.
