Job Description: We are looking for an Informatica Administrator that can support, maintain, install, and customize Informatica PowerCenter 9.x systems and related components. You will need to work with application developers and other technologists to troubleshoot issues with pre-production and production systems, and handle day-to-day requests for support. Additional duties may include leading an 8.5-to-9.x migration, improving monitoring and alerting capabilities, and revising documentation and coordinating a disaster recovery test. Our client uses Informatica PowerCenter and related components on Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems. There are additional PowerExchange components and Change Data Capture that run on IBM z-Series systems, and Push-Down Optimization for Oracle and Greenplum are in use. The PowerCenter environment continues to grow and is becoming an important part of their business. This is a fast-paced and exciting environment to work.
