*Overview:*
Responsible for collaborating with the SSRS* {Microsoft’s SQL Server
Reporting Services (SSRS) 2008 R2*} report designer, business analyst and
data analyst to resolve gaps in report design specifications and ensuring
these decisions are documented.* *Consultant must be able to achieve
continuous improvement in the areas of: logical and physical data modeling,
best practices, tools and technologies, security in the BI environment, BI
development, performance tuning, and administration.. *Looking for someone
with mid-level experience, can do some small amount of design work and then
mostly developer work. **The Pyramid skillset is a bit harder to find, so
if you have anyone with that profile but does not fit the description
perfectly lets also consider them.***
*Role Description:*
*1. **Must have 3-5 yrs of SSRS & MDX report design and technical
specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable. *
· Produces* SSRS- MDX 2008 R2 reports* meeting 100 percent of
business requirements.
· *Pyramid Analytics -Pyramid Bio XL or Bio Point experience*
*2. **Participates in system and integration test; identifies and
remedies solution defects.*
· Validate that the business intelligence design and technical
specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable.
· Responsible for collaborating with the BI architect, business
analyst and data analyst to resolve gaps in the design specifications and
ensuring these decisions are documented.
· Produces solutions meeting 100 percent of technical
specifications and business requirements according to the established
designs.
· Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope,
design, development issues and recommending potential solutions.
· Participates in design reviews.
· Conducts unit tests and code reviews.

3. *Healthcare (Payer) experience is a large plus*: Claims,
Providers, Members, etc.
4. *Work with business end-users to determine their reporting
requirements.*
· *Develop report design specifications.*
· *Proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope,
design, development issues and recommending potential solutions.*
· *Participates in report design reviews.*
5. Should have prior exp performing unit and system testing
6. Knowledge of software development life cycle {SLDC}
7. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
8. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
9. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project.
