*Duration: Long-Term* Here’s the job description *JOB TITLE* *Senior LAN Engineer* * * *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* · Network (LAN/WAN/WLAN) design and implementation · Develop and document templates and standards for supporting the network infrastructure · Configure switches and routers to be deployed in various sites · Implement and troubleshoot wireless networks, lightweight and autonomous · Ability to perform packet capture and analysis · Able to work with spreadsheets, drawings, and word documents · Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls to isolate non-compliant devices on the network · Work with the team to complete complex switch and router installations · Respond to customer requirements and ensure that customer needs are being met by IT · Assist with cross-functional project/issues/problems that are complex or difficult to resolve *REQUIRED JOB SKILLS* · 5+ years of work experience in LAN troubleshooting and design · 5+ years IT experience working across a number of technology areas, with at least 1 year working as a Senior Engineer or similar technology role · CCNP is required · Self-motivated and able to work independently and in virtual teams · Recognized as a technology SME (subject matter expert) in prior position · Proficient knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and all associated protocols · Strong Cisco Networking background · Proficient in Microsoft Office and Visio · Excellent client satisfaction history required · Strong teamwork and collaboration skills · Process and detail oriented · Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; ability to work well with others *REQUIRED TECHNICAL PROFICIENCIES* · Core routing and switching design, configuration, and troubleshooting · Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches · Cisco Routers · Cisco ASA · Routing Protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP · Spanning-tree, VLANs, Port Channels, Load balancing, SPAN, NAT, ACL · Cisco wireless communication design and configuration: Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, ISE, and WAPs · Tools / Management: Wireshark, CiscoPrime, Cisco Wireless Control System (WCS) · Authentication: TACACS+, RADIUS *DESIRED SKILLS* · Strong experience in WAN/Internet · CCIE preferred · Experience with Palo Alto firewalls · Large Enterprise environment · Detailed documentation skills · Knowledge of DNS, AD, DHCP, and security · VoIP experience · Testing methodologies and skills · Awareness/familiarity with Six Sigma process · Ability to travel occasionally -- *Please do let me know if any one fits for this position* *Thanks & Regards* Praveen Kumar Technical Recruiter | Addon Technologies | Website: www.addonusa.com phone: 734-956-4737 ext-168 | Fax:* *734-418-2603 | email: * [email protected]* <[email protected]>| N .
