Location – Detroit, MI** Contract – 7 months or longer ** GC and USC** Technology Specialist (IT) Engagement Description: Key Responsibilities: • Leads and delegates design and implementation details into the team for assigned feature and functionality • Develops detailed technical work plans and schedules and is accountable for monitoring and reporting on project metrics, issues, risks and overall progress • Identify, communicate and report significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule • Gains a clear understanding of contribution of assigned tasks to the overall team or project schedule • Provide implementation assistance and information about existing implementations to peers • Maintaining and building core competency of technical and business knowledge and sharing it with colleagues to help drive the future direction of your team • Collaboration with Business Lead(s) to produce high quality solutions to better support successful production release • Demonstrate strong team work to foster effective team dynamics and cohesive working environment; which include mentoring less experienced colleagues • Collaborate with peer teams to resolve design and implementation details as they evolve * * Required Skills / Experience:** • 3 - 5 years relevant project/program leadership experience • 3 - 5 years healthcare industry experience • 3 - 5 years technical experience in software development • Experience with large enterprise projects, preferably associated with the health insurance industry • Understanding of healthcare payer claims, billing and associated systems • Understands and can discuss healthcare trends and concepts in detail • Demonstrated strong leadership skills • Proficient in formal project management methodologies • Excellent understanding of risk management / mitigation • High proficiency (expert-level) in the use of MS-Project • Able to effectively interact with program sponsor, business client, and the IT division resources • Knowledge and experience of the Project Management Institute’s standards and terminology • Strong requirements management and scope containment skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experienced in developing and delivering presentations at executive levels • JAVA and Oracle skills needed • Previous experience preparing written requirements, test plans, and other project deliverables • Previous experience executing test plans, test strategies, defect tracking, and work plans • Demonstrated strong creative problem solving and analytical skills * * Top Three Skills / Experience:** • Ability to handle multiple tasks and implementation timeframes • Ability to perform as a self-starter, with motivation to consistently produce high quality results • Strong organizational and follow-through skills and particularly strong attention to detail required * * Preferred Skills / Experience:** • Hands-on prior project experience with NASCO Claims Processing System is a plus • Knowledge of Our Client’s operating systems (e.g. NASCO / NPS) is preferred • Previous experience with 837 transactions is a plus * * Education Requirements:** • Minimum 5 to 7 years of health care experience with knowledge of claims processing preferred • Bachelor’s degree -- *Please send resumes to [email protected]* *Thanks & Regards* Praveen Kumar Technical Recruiter | Addon Technologies | Website: www.addonusa.com phone: 734-956-4737 ext-168 | Fax:* *734-418-2603 | email: * [email protected]* <[email protected]>| N .
