*Location: Any AT&T location in US is doable* *2 year contract* *Immediate interviews* *Max rate $47/hr c-c* * * *Prior AT&T experience preferred* AT&T Application Project Manager – Job Description The Application Project Manager acts as a liaison between various delivery teams requiring coordination of these resources. Through understanding of core business and service objectives and processes, this position will translate those needs into a clear definition of system and requirements, culminating in the production launch of systems and/or enhancements that obtain those objectives. • Provides application level project management throughout the lifecycle of a project / program by directing the efforts of project(s) using dotted-line authority to deliver a completed project and/or service. • Has accountability for managing concurrent high complexity projects which may span multiple functional roles and/or teams in a matrixed team environment. • Responsible for detailed planning including estimating, resource allocation and assignment (not the direct Resource owner), detailed scheduling, critical path analysis, consolidating project plans and negotiating any sequencing conflicts. • Directs project activities utilizing the organization's standard processes to ensure the timely delivery of stated business benefits, comparing actuals to plans and adjusting plans as necessary. • Assesses, plans for, and manages project risks including mitigation & contingency plans; manages issues, jeopardies, escalations and problem resolutions. • Defines project scope and ensures changes to scope and deliverables are managed using the change control process. • Manages the delivery of artifacts required by AT&T IT SDLC process for assigned projects. • Responsible for providing project status to Project Management team leads as well as status and readouts to application leadership. Desired Skills/Certifications – • PMP Certification • Project Management experience in Telecom industry (preferably AT&T IT) • Two/three years+ experience in Project Management • Knowledge of SOX Compliance in respect to Projects adherence is a plus. *Thanks,* *VINNI **| Oberon IT*** 1300 W.
