*Device Tester IOS and Android* *Herndon VA* *3 months project* *Summary:-* Key member of the test team. Responsibilities include testing, test planning, defects management, test management, customer and vendor management. Excellent record of working in RF planning and using the ATOLL for various aspects of RF planning i.e. RF Site Survey, Site planning, creation, Site update and deletions. All aspects of ATOLL from different roles like, RF engineer, RF lead and Admin to perform the testing at different stages of RF planning. *Major Duties:-* 1. Actively participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents. 2. Test the product release as needed to support the target release schedule. 3. Debug errors found during test execution and produce complete defect packages in support of development. 4. Analyze formal test results in order to discover, document and regress defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws. 5. Communicate test estimates, test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management. 6. Working experience on ATOLL and it’s all related aspects of RF planning, Site Surveys, Site creations and deletions etc. Supervisory Requirements As self-starter who has ability to work independently, with little to no support. Authority and Responsibility Has authority to make decisions within the scope of the tasks assigned as long as they conform to the guidelines of the department lead and managers. Describe the Requirements for this Job (Knowledge, Skill, Education and Experience) Essential: 1. 3+ years of experience as a Senior Tester with previous ownership of a major software component , participated in RF planning using ATOLL in few markets in USA. 2. 4+ years of practical engineering experience testing iOS and android applications and devices. Experience in using various aspects, capabilities, roles of ATOLL in real markets while performing the RF Planning. 3. Strong debugging and problem solving skills & Strong knowledge of testing methodologies 4. Understanding technical specifications and log file analysis. 5. Strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills. 6. Experience interfacing with customers on previous projects 7. Able to successfully communicate technical concepts and information to internal staff and peers – you have an opinion and are capable of getting across your ideas in a respectful and meaningful way 8. Actively build and maintain a set of test cases in HP QC, whole test process and management in HP QC. 9. Working knowledge of HP Quality Center for defect management and test case development. 10. Strong knowledge of Android debugging. 11. Proven experience running daily triage. Capable of defining process improvements. 12. You work well within a team environment, capable of supporting your peers by actively doing your part. Desirable 1. Previous experience with agile development/testing methodologies. 2. Previous experience with setting up or performing testing on complex test platforms. 3. Previous experience working cross-team in support of multiple releases. 4.
