Acts as a project team member, specifically on requirements definition and testing activities. Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on complex problems and ensures resolution. Assists customers on their migration to new or revised products, applications and platforms. Works with application developers and operations personnel to support production applications and customer-specific operations. Significant creativity is required. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred The objective of this assignment is to perform end user testing in support of custom software development and business processes as relates to new software functionalities. Responsibilities: • Ability to translate business requirements into test cases • Create, review, and revise test plans and maintain reusable test cases • Execute testing cases for custom-developed software and supporting systems and business processes; utilize both automated and manual tools as appropriate • Advise project management on findings, potential impacts to the testing schedule, make recommendations as relates to quality of testing • Verification of adherence to business requirements • Responsible for tracking and documenting defects and test results per corporate standards • Create and maintain change tickets related to testing Qualifications: • 2 to 5 years of experience in QA role, e.g. as a Software Test Engineer, Quality Assurance Specialist, Business user Tester or similar • 2 to 5 years of working in Healthcare industry Required Skills and Experiences: • Demonstrated experience in executing full cycle testing, automated and manual • Experience in creating test plans, executing test scenarios, tracking defects, and monitoring testing activity • Familiar with common web application tools and technologies like SQL • Familiar with Agile development methodology Business Analyst Sr. BCBS Location – Detroit, MI Contract – 4 months or longer GC and US Business Analyst, Sr.: Resource will be required to develop applications to support Wellness Care Management Incentive Management programs. Resource will be required to update project tasks, design, code, test and document. Resource must have expert level MS Access, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), SQL Server and SQL (including triggers, functions, stored procedures) development skills. Minimum of five years development experience in each of the above technologies required. Department Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or other related field is required.
