Position: *Citrix Engineer*

Location: *Greensboro, NC *

Duration: *6 month contract *



*Bill Rate: $45/hr c-c*

Senior Citrix Engineer to deliver a wide range of technology services
within the Citrix technology platforms. The successful candidate will be
one of the senior members of our Windows infrastructure team with
responsibilities around leading planned projects, architecting new
solutions, and executing ongoing management of systems. As an external
facing position, we expect the right candidate to interact with other teams
and business units in a professional and courteous manner, representing the
Windows infrastructure team in its best light at all times. Our exciting

Technical Requirements

•        Minimum 4 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional
experience

•        Experience with VMware vSphere or other hypervisor and desktop
provisioning.

•        5+ years experience with Citrix Presentation Server 4 and above,
preference towards Presentation Server 4.5 and/or XENAPP 6.5

•        5+ years experience with XenDesktop 4 or 5

•        5+ years experience Citrix Web Interface, Monitoring Tools (Citrix
Edgesight), and Remote Access

•        2+ years experience with PowerShell scripting.

•        Experience with thin clients (setup, configuration, and
management).

•        Line of business application support – must have experience
supporting client/server network applications.

•        Windows Server 2003 32 bit and 64 bit and above, preference
towards Windows Server 2008 & 2012- strongly preferred.

•        Experience with rack mounted servers.

•        Experience with Windows clustering technologies.

•        Wide range trouble shooting skills involving, Active Directory,
storage, security, DNS/DHCP, DFS, printers, etc

•        All current Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows XP, 7, &
8)

•        Participate in internal and external projects, reactive and
proactive maintenance, sustaining, and break-fix activities.

•        Participate in cross training and mentoring as necessary to
facilitate communication, career development, and system coverage.
