Job Description:
Require a Report and DB application designer and developer with experience
in SQL Server technologies on Windows. Emphasis is on design and
development skills and experience in a client/server real-time transaction
systems. Building new features and capabilities on the DB side of
applications. This person will be part of a team to design and develop a
reporting solution with a focus on managed and ad hoc reports using SSRS
and SSAS 2008.
• Design, develop, implement and support database objects such
as, stored procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, etc. that meet
business and report requirements.
• Perform software development, unit testing and debugging,
which may include the development of new software, reuse of existing code,
modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions.
• Work with Business Analysts, other team members and clients
to review the business and report requirements and translate them into
database objects and reports.
• Receive general supervision from the project leader, and work
independently through all phases of the software development life cycle.
Job Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in development in T-SQL.
• 3+ years hands on experience on SSIS, SSRS and SSAS is a must
• 3+ years’ experience utilizing SSRS filters, group by, drill
down, charts, graphs, aggregates, and basic statistics (percentages,
averages, medians).
• Strong experience with SQL 2008 Server programming, stored
procedures, datasets and performance tuning.
• Advanced skills in Excel and MS Access data functionality and
data-modeling is desirable
• Highly organized with ability to multi-task and motivated
with sharp customer focus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MS SharePoint experience is a plus.
