Please let me know if you're comfortable with the below requirement ASAP. *Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager* *Location: New jersey* *Duration:3 Months-2 years* He will have 5+ years of experience in managing large infrastructure migration/consolidation projects. The successful candidate will have overseen and managed large-scale data center consolidation and migration program over multiple sites and phases. The candidate will be experienced in presenting technical material to both technical and non-technical customers. *Responsibilities:* • Oversee and manage a large-scale application assessment project for multiple business units within News Corporation. The application assessment will be used to assist with the corporate goal of migrating 75% of the internal compute to public cloud. • Manage all required resources such as budgets, outside vendor and dependencies and act as the single point of contact for major areas of the business. • Determine business requirements, identify migration strategies, negotiate schedules and provide on-going coordination. • Deep involvement in the design, planning and execution of the migration plans to migrate and/or decommission application instances and servers in scope without disruption to business groups • Drive meetings with Subject Matter Experts from all areas of the business including: Applications, Applications vendors, Architects and Leads to seek input from and review migration methodology, resource requirements, timeline and budgetary constraints • Track and report all application instances scheduled for migration • Host weekly status meetings with senior management, business and technology teams *Work Experience / Knowledge: * • Deep experience managing projects involving server consolidation, software migrations, or infrastructure consolidations/moves • Experienced leader, mentor and coach with proven ability to lead multiple geographically dispersed cross-functional teams to manage large, complex projects and consistently complete them on time and within budget • Hands on experience designing and building new data centers preferred • Previous experience as Lead Architect or Lead in Data Center relocation/consolidation/divestiture required. • At least 10 years directly related work experience in the Information Technology field is required • At least 5 years of experience with data center rationalization, consolidation, relocation or migration is preferred *Required Skills:* • Strong project management and technical leadership skills with a track record of using different project management methodologies include Scrum / Agile / Prince2 / AGM and focus on data center migrations, consolidations, etc. • Demonstrated holistic understanding of Datacenter Operations (i.e. Production operations, Server, Storage, Network, Database Management., Systems Management., Helpdesk, DR/Business recovery practices, etc.) • Familiarity with functional operations of server, storage and network functions • Knowledge of server platform technologies (i.e. Unix/Wintel/…) • Ability to manage a project plan, track milestones and identify dependencies • Experiences in Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Virtualization in large scale environments. • Strong communication & leadership skills • Strong, concise documentation skills Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties) • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred • PRINCE2, PMP or related certification is preferred *Thanks & Regards, * Praveen Kumar Ravuru Addon Technologies 734-956-4737 Ext 168 [email protected] <[email protected]> www.addonusa.com Gtalk & YM: praveen.addon *"There is hope in your future"*Jeremiah 31:17 (NKJV) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "as400placements1" group.
