Client is a leading provider of investor communications and
technology-driven-solutions to banks, broker-dealers, mutual funds, and

communication solutions through securities processing and operations. In
short, we provide the infrastructure that helps the financial services
industry operate. With 50 years of experience, we provide financial
services firms with advanced, dependable, scalable, and cost-effective
integrated services to help run their businesses. The Forefield product is
the leading provider of premier financial planning knowledge and
institutional solutions that enable communications between financial
institutions, advisors, and customers. Forefield’s Web-based applications
facilitate the communication of financial planning knowledge and advice
that is current, consistent, and customized. The Forefield application is
built 100% on Microsoft technologies. The application is .NET 4.5 from the
ASP.NET front end, to the services and tools at the back-end. The Web UI is
HTML 4, CSS 2 and jQuery (at least for now). We use SQL Server 2008 for our
database. Are you curious about how technology works? Do you like figuring
out how something works, and then learning from it and/or improving it?
This could be your ideal position. We’ve found that having the curiosity to
learn how things work is a key to success in our collaborative, team
environment. You may be a Web UI expert, but you should be interested in
how the back-end works – you may see things in a way that leads to a better
design. We have open positions that would benefit from specific expertise.
All positions require strong skills in C#/ASP.NET and the ability to port
functionality from many disparate products into a single product. One
position will be database and XML focused. The ideal candidate would
benefit from strong SQL skills and the ability to work exporting existing
structures to XML. You will be exporting data from a legacy system into XML
for ingestion into our new product. The other positions will be working on
the UI and Backend. The ideal candidate would benefit from experience in
MVC 4 and UX design. You will be developing a UI that needs to be intuitive
to our clients, responsive, and highly customizable. Requirements • A
minimum of 5 years in a software engineering role • Fluency in one, or
more, programming languages (C#, Java, C, C++, Python, etc.) • The
curiosity to learn how things work and the ability to figure it out Good to
