We currently have a *6+ Months Contract* opportunity for a *BI Data Analyst* (Parma Experience Plus) with our direct client located in *Weston, MA.* *Key Requirements: * Excellent SQL and Oracle technical skills to work in complex data warehouse environment, good understanding of commercial data and the ability to relate data to commercial business needs. *Job Description: * · Looking for a candidate with a strong Analytical skillset and Life Sciences industry background to be a part of the Commercial IT Business Intelligence team. · This will be a role responsible for building and maintaining the business intelligence layer for Commercial and the technical implementation of current and future data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. · The role requires proficiency with the design of database architectures, data warehouses, data migrations, data marts, business intelligence packages, and implementing BI solutions based upon business requirement and content knowledge. Strong understanding of database methodology, data analysis, advanced SQL queries, ETL and business intelligence application required. *Key responsibilities include: * · Collaborate with business stakeholders to create BI solutions that add value to the growth of the commercial organization · Support the data warehouse architect in data integration architecting scalable business intelligence solutions · Design and develop multi-dimensional data models/cubes that enable analytic driven reporting · Manipulate and query data stored in multiple relational databases through SQL queries and procedures · Develop new capabilities and architectures to enable information delivery · Perform detail data analysis and help aid decision making by combining it with business knowledge · Identify and extract essential information to support investigations, analyze the data, and synthesize the information into easily understood reports/ findings/ recommendations · Conduct detailed analysis of databases and systems to identify real or potential data quality issues including accuracy, completeness, relevance, and timeliness · Proactively identify, present findings, and follow through to completion process improvements that improve data quality, drive efficiency, mitigate risk, or provide new value to the organization · Document detail requirements for various business integration and analytic needs *Qualifications: * · Strong data analysis skills, knowledge of Pharma data (covering the Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Managed Markets, Patient Services functions) and metrics preferred · Ability to understand how to effectively and efficiently answer critical business questions · Ability to make new insights by navigating through vast amount of data generated from multiple sources · Proven record of collaboratively working across functional boundaries, with excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills · Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL processes and related software skills · Knowledge of databases, warehouses, business intelligence systems · Works independently and cooperatively with business and IT *Work Experience * · 6+ years of experience in Commercial life sciences analytics · 6+ years of experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Business Objects, RoamBI, Qlikview) · Experience in complex data integration projects (with CRM platforms such as Service Cloud, Veeva, Siebel) *Education: * Bachelor degree for an accredited college or university with major coursework in Computer Science or Business Administration required; MBA or master’s degree in relevant field preferred This is with our direct client.
