Requirements and Data Analysis . Data Modelling and Data Model Validation . Design and Architecting of Big Data / Map Reduce platforms . ETL Design and BISM Design . Integration of data from Big Data platform onto SQL data stores . Code reviews & walk through and Offshore coordination . Performance optimization . Regular status reporting to stakeholders Required skills: . BI/DW/ETL Development - end to end implementation . At least 3-4 projects as Architect, 2-3 projects on Big Data platforms (HDInsight) . Data Modelling and Design (DW/ETL) skills . Strong hands-on experience in COSMOS and MSBI (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS) platform . Ability to drive requirements gathering & validation, and translate to design . Ability to coordinate deliverables with offshore team . Experience in designing and implementing BISM and Self Service reporting using tools such as PowerPivot .
