Associates are expected to design, code, analyze, configure, unit test, and maintain applications. · With full competency, devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities." · We are looking for a consultant for a 3 month onsite assignment (might be extended to 6 months as needed) who is strong in FOCUS (ETL/BI tool) and Informatica. This person will be responsible for understanding the FOCUS ETL scripts and rewriting them using Informatica ETL tool. · Ideal candidate should have both Informatica and Wedfocus skill set as listed below. *Informatica Skiil set;* • Use PowerCenter 9.x Designer to build mappings that extract data from a source to a target, transforming it Candidates should have Informatica skills that are listed below as necessary. • Use PowerCenter transformations to cleanse, format, join, aggregate and route data to the appropriate targets • Perform error handling/trapping using PowerCenter mappings • Use PowerCenter 9.x Workflow Manager to build and run a workflow which executes a sessions associated with a mapping • Design and build simple mappings and workflows based on essential business needs. • Use Informatica Support to resolve questions and problems with PC9.x. • Perform basic troubleshooting using PowerCenter logs and debugger. • Use Normalizer • Stored Procedure transformation • Must have excellent SQL Skills *Web Focus Skill set:* • Experience with WebFocus 7.2 from Information Builders • Understand/Code using WebFocus scripting language NOTE: Don’t confuse WebFocus with Micro Focus (which is COBOL), we are looking for WebFocus skills.
