*Note : Need A Consultant ASAP......!!!!!!!* *Jobtitle : Quality Assurance Program Manager Location : Atlanta, GADuration : 12+ Months Contract* *Responsibilities:*Lead QA efforts for new development projects during the development and implementation phases Apply structured testing methodology and strategies Develop and apply standards to ensure the quality of requirements and design specifications Develop and apply standards to ensure code quality including conducting code reviews Develop and apply standards to ensure the quality of code integration including implementing CI (continuous integration) Develop test plans to cover requirements utilizing a traceability matrix Create comprehensive test cases/scripts that are in accordance with business and technical specifications Perform test case reviews with Business Analysts and the Development Team Assist with test data identification Plan and schedule test activities to ensure functional, system, integration, and regression testing Manage the testing program Develop and apply standards to ensure the application’s ability to meet nonfunctional requirements via load testing Monitor test progress throughout the release cycle and communicate test results, issues and risks to project team members, project managers and IT management Ensure all testers create necessary defect tickets Handle communications regarding the overall quality assurance program with all parties including updates to management *Required Skills:*10+ years QA experience testing web-based and/or client/server products with at least 5 years in a management role overseeing other QA testers Excellent test planning and organizational skills Experience in defect tracking Familiarity with SQL and relational databases Experience with application load testing 5+ years of writing test cases from requirements 3+ years managing QA programs using ALM Experience using HP Load Runner to test application performance Strong Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills Ability to facilitate large meetings with all management levels in attendance Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently Organized and detail oriented Excellent leadership and people skills Transportation and Logistics experience a plus College Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering *Preferred Skills:*2+ years QA experience testing mainframe applications *QA PM:*Lead managing QA Lead QA effort They will do QA work as well as leading the other QAs Multiple projects All New Development projects All QAs may be roles into one dept. A lot of Manual Testing some automated Looking for Load Runner, ALM (Quality Center), TFS, Test Manager. Able to use any or all of the above Some but not a lot of performance testing Initial 80% test 20% managing Once the decision is made to role QAs into one or not then there will be more management May become a contract to hire.
