Job Description
. Software Quality Assurance Assistant Manager:
. Assisting the QA Manager in software quality assurance testing
activities related to the quality, reliability and compliance of our
applications
Assist QA Manager in the day to day testing process across all applications.
Ensure the standard operating procedures are effectively executed
. Responsible for assuring that output from the software development
process includes adequate identification and interpretation of product
requirements, such as a) traceability requirements, b) test requirements, c)
usability, etc.- identify gaps and work with Project Managers for
remediation.
. Ensure that QA Test Strategy, Test plan and Test scripts are
created on time and updated for all IT projects.
. Manage process across teams for moving code into the release
regions.
. Ensure all Audit points are followed and that scripts are updated
with pass/fail status and defects are documented in the defect tracking
tools.
. Assist the QA Leads in developing and presenting UAT Testing
strategy documents
. Coordinate and Lead the UAT process ensuring financial validation
and functional validation approvals and sign off.
. Formulate and Lead Testing Strategic Initiatives such as Test Tool
Evaluation and Implementation, Test Environment Change Governance and Test
Data Refresh across multiple environments.
. Must be able to multitask with minimum supervision.
. Strong experience in leading testing efforts across large, highly
integrated applications.
. Familiarity of web application development, middle-ware processes,
SQL, ORACLE as well as i-Series (AS400) JD Edwards World
. Experience in Project Management a must
