*Requirement:* SAS Programmer / Data Analyst Contract-to-Hire Position Denver, CO *Background and Requirements: * The Customer requires an experienced SAS Programmer / Data Analyst to do detailed data analysis and data profiling. *Specific SAS Programmer/ Data Analyst Requirements*: 1. Apply and demonstrate expertise with efficient DATA step, SQL programming and SAS Macro programming. 2. Be proficient in Base SAS programming (DATA step), SQL programming (i.e., use of SQL pass-through or PROC SQL), as well as the SAS Macro language for use in making code more efficient. 3.So, the consultant must have project expertise with SAS/Access to Teradata. 4. Consultant must be passionate about data. 5. SAS is running on a UNIX platform. So, the consultant must have UNIX expertise and scripting experience. 6. Additional coding responsibilities would be to take ownership of legacy code written by other employees and understand what the code does, how to enhance it, and how to make it more efficient if need be. 7.
