ID:* *Oracle Financial DBA* *Primary Skills:* Expert knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Middleware, Infrastructure architecture, SQL and Unix scripting *Description:* ∙ Expert knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Middleware, Infrastructure architecture, SQL and Unix scripting ∙ Proficient with technology stack of Oracle applications, PeopleSoft and Supporting tools ∙ Conversant with enterprise IT operations and have migrated ERP applications earlier ∙ Possess strong project planning skills, strong oral and written communication skills ∙ Partner with internal business owners, technical team members, and senior management throughout the project life cycle to assist planning, testing, and migration of the applications ∙ Act as the intermediary to facilitate a clear understanding among all parties about business assumptions and requirements, testing, and production migration requirements ∙ Work closely with the Technology Services staff to establish, revise, and maintain standards and procedures while implementing system projects ∙ Work with clients to foster best business practices, the appropriate use of automation to provide efficient, cost-effective administrative systems and a continual process improvement approach to the Board’s automated administrative systems ∙ Participate with ASAP team in the software development life cycle for Oracle Financials, Oracle PeopleSoft and other supporting applications, ∙ Migrate Oracle database, monitoring tools, scheduling tool, middleware, interfaces, and applications ∙ Understand and implement Oracle’s Fusion Architecture wherever applicable on per need basis. ∙ Strong skills in how to secure database and applications. ∙ Understand Oracle database and application architecture to provide performance tuning services when needed. ∙ Troubleshoot database and application issues, when coming from the DBA and application DBA areas. ∙ Understand disaster recovery principles and performing disaster recovery when applicable. ∙ Participate and provide expertise in system capacity planning efforts. ∙ Develop solutions with team members to implement previously defined and documented requirements DELIVERABLES: ∙ Project Plan ∙ Testing Plan ∙ Communication Plan ∙ Training Plan ∙ Project Risk Log ∙ Issues Log ∙ Architecting the migration ∙ Migration of all the databases, web servers, applications and interfaces ∙ Migration of the shell scripts Thanks & Regards, Azhar Ansari | Bravens Inc.
