Please look at the requirement below and let me know if you have any suitable profiles available with you. *Job Title: Cognos Developer* *Location: Eden Prairie, MN* *Term: Long term contract* *Back ground verification and drug test are mandatory upon confirmation.* We are currently seeking an experienced Cognos Developer to work either in Eden Prairie, MN or Hartford, CT *Skills Needed * · The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for reviewing and understanding preliminary designs and technical documents, with occasional authoring. · Demonstrates advanced level of understanding and application of general systems concepts and their integration with business problem resolution · Provides technical team support for the design and development roles. · Advanced assigned to difficult, complex, and vital analysis and design tasks associated with multiple, large systems projects. · Advanced resource on one or more development environments or programming languages. · Able to schedule, assign, direct, review and perform related follow-up and work coordination activities with others on the technical team. · Liaison with clients or other systems areas involving complex problem solving is a significant element of work. · Provides significant input to establishment of protocols, tools and systems investments. · Occasional consultation with company senior leaders and/or outside vendors on complex issues having impact across Health Care Company organization entities or involving large financial investments. *Specific Qualifications* · 4-5+ years extensive experience in complex, cross departmental projects involving multiple platforms · Minimum 4-5 or more years work experience in Business Intelligence development. · Expert skill and knowledge in the IBM Cognos toolset; including but not limited to Framework Manager, Report Studio and Transformer. · IBM Cognos C10 experience preferred; working knowledge of IBM Cognos SDK is a bonus. · Strong SQL skills required. · Coding experience with JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, .NET, and/or C-Sharp preferred. *Educational Qualification * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience demonstrating advanced level of understanding and application of general systems concepts and their integration with business problem solving skills. *Other Qualifications * · Recognized expert in one or more areas of programming or software development work, or maintenance tools/utilities. · In-depth knowledge of systems development life cycle and/or operational maintenance environment. · Distinguished as leader through possession of broad understanding of company business issues and their integration with broad and complex information systems applications. · Documents and coordinates complex, cross-functional system test plans. · Accountable for effectiveness, quality and timeliness of project analysis and programming decisions and how easily they can be implemented. · Able to perform advisory role on complex projects. · Self-managing resource that is able to perform as an integral part of small development team. · Communicates clearly and is able to advise on topics of expertise. · Works under broad, general direction *Please Respond below given email id or desk* Thanks & Regards Anand Sr Recruiter *Desk: **732-400-1778 <732-400-1778> Ext 103* *Fax: 732-200-0646 <732-200-0646>* *IntelliLink Technologies Inc.* *E-mail: **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *www.intellilinktech.com <http://www.intellilinktech.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "as400placements1" group.
