*Position Description:*
Direct responsibility for the design, maintenance, and support of Data
Warehouse Systems.  The developer requires a high level of analytical and
creative skills and an in-depth knowledge of database structure, data
warehouse configuration, methodology, design, and modeling.  The
developer’s typical duties includes but not limited to designing and
building data warehouses,   designing ETL processes and procedures using
tools such as IBM InfoSphere,  performing analysis, SQL scripting, Unix
Scripting tuning and optimization on very large (multi-terabyte) databases,
working with lead application developers to design and develop database
objects and structures according to project specifications, addressing data
quality issues with users, analyzing organizational data requirements and
reviewing/Understanding logical and physical Data Flow Diagrams and Entity
Relationship Diagrams using tools such as Visio and Erwin. Must be able to
work with and within a cross-functional development, QA and production
team.  Responsibilities include the following:

• Reviewing and understanding complex database structures and maps.
• Solid understanding of both relational and dimensional database structures
• Local Installation and configuration of IBM InfoSphere Data Integration
suite
• Troubleshooting IBM InfoSphere Data Integration components
• Project migrations to/from various environments
• Develop and troubleshoot UNIX scripts
• Setup database connectivity to various database environments
• Monitor environments according to security requirements
• Monitor jobs for performance issues and troubleshooting
• Develop, enhance, and support best practices and standards for data
integration
• Provide performance tuning insight to project teams
• Mentor developers on data integration best practices and standards
• Perform design and code reviews for the projects to ensure alignment with
best practices and standards

*Job Requirements:*

Individual needs to be highly skilled and competent using the IBM Data
Stage product.

*Required:*
•5+ years of experience in IT
•5+ years as a Data Integration practitioner
•3+ years of solid hands-on experience in using IBM DataStage or equivalent
toold
•Understand DataStage clustering architecture and parallel jobs
•Intimate knowledge in combine/sort/aggregate/transform data
•Able to create reusable objects and job templates
•Schedule, compile, and run DataStage jobs efficiently
•1+ year of solid hands-on experiences in using XML stage
•Intimate knowledge in interpreting/manipulating XML document
•3+ years in UNIX scripting, FTP and basic network principles

*Job Description:*
Captiva Application / Content Storage Engineer for a 6 month contract with
strong potential for extension. The Engineer is responsible for
implementing and supporting complex integrated imaging and content storage
solutions that optimize our client’s technology to support and grow their
business.

The Engineer will implement imaging solutions to meet internal businesses
requirements based on the Captiva suite of products and store the images in
content management or archival systems. Provide quality, error-free
application engineering, imaging efficiencies, quality standards and
software integration for internal customer use.
Work independently, test, document, and implement systems and programs as
requirements are provided.  This includes writing VB scripts and module
implementation into our client’s LAB and Production Environments while
utilizing change control processes, implementation reviews, and
configuration and release management processes.
The Captiva Application Engineer will provide technical briefings to
internal teams and management, gathering requirements from internal and
external team members.

*REQUIRED SKILLS:*
A minimum of 7 years of professional IT experience including:
  o Solid technical foundation in infrastructure, Captiva
installation/configuration.
  o In depth knowledge of an Enterprise Document Capture system using the
Captiva application suite with a minimum of 5+ years.
  o 3+ years’ experience with Input Accel Configuration and Management
  o 2+ years’ experience with Dispatcher Development Experience on the
following modules (Classification, Recognition, OCR and Validation Modules)
  o Strong background in usage of all classification and extraction
dispatcher components.
  o 3+ years’ experience with Windows OS platforms, servers and
applications; Understanding of registries, system settings, similarities
and differences is required.
  o 2+ years’ experience with Windows OS platforms, servers and
applications.
  o 2+ years’ experience of Visual Basic and Shell scripting (ASP, HTML,
VBScript, Javascript, C Language).
  o Completed at least 4 projects using Captiva suite of products
  o Deep knowledge of Captiva architecture and suite of products
  o 2+ years’ experience with content management systems (SharePoint /
Documentum)
  o Knowledge of InfoArchive
  o Design enterprise level solutions
  o Project implementation methodology & lifecycle

*HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:*
Implementing or administrating an enterprise document imaging solution in a
financial or technology industry.

The Engineer is responsible for establishing, planning, and administering
the overall technical procedures and goals for the Distributed System
Storage Service Family.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Reviewing and establishing best practices for a large and growing Storage
Area Network.
Setting technical direction in the planning and design of future storage
requirements, including Virtualization, Object and Content storage.
Planning and design of migration methodologies and implementation
