for a variety of customer facing applications. The Test Engineer will work

developing, publishing, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution.
The individual will also be responsible for implementing automated test

*TITLE:  Automated Tester with Mortgage IT industry experience (experience
testing Web AND Client Server Applications)*

Works in partnership with enterprise architecture, application delivery and
support teams, quality services, technology operations, and associated 3rd
party vendors to engineer and support the implementation of efficient,
reliable, scalable, and well managed systems.  The scope of work includes
the full technology stack from the Application down to the computer and
network tiers across all technologies and platforms.  The resource will
provide team and technical leadership and will be accountable for
performance engineering related assessment, tuning, and troubleshooting
activities.  In completing the efforts they will deliver technical
recommendations to meet non-functional system requirements, establishing
performance engineering standards for application and infrastructure
platforms, and ensure that solutions are delivered in accordance with those
standards through internal governance models.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Senior technical SME who is capable of partnering with resources across
various disciplines, lines-of-business, and vendors in the analysis,
tuning, and troubleshooting of performance issues
•Helps identify non-functional business and system requirements.  Supports
the performance testing and implementations of solutions to meet those
requirements
•Responsible for identifying key performance indicators and associated
thresholds on the capacity, availability, quality and efficiency of the
engineered environments.
•Provides a broad understanding of applications, platforms, and underlying
technologies at both the software and infrastructure levels.
•Provides consultation and guidance for resources both internal and
external to the performance engineering team
•Mentors resources across the organization in encouraging and developing
the performance discipline within the given application and infrastructure
teams
•Completes application profiling verification/assurance for critical
systems and reviews systems for production performance readiness
•Manage customer relationships with the business, delivery, and technology
partners

Responsible for the overall design of the enterprise information
architecture, across multiple data types (structured, semi-structured and
unstructured), balancing the need for access against security and
performance requirements. This individual focuses primarily on enterprise
information requirements: design, access, usage and stewardship. The
position also requires an understanding of emerging regulatory issues
surrounding information assets (such as consumer privacy laws, data
retention policies, outsourced data and specific industry guidelines —
especially in healthcare, insurance and banking). Also included are the
developments or use of process models, creation or use of information or
target data models, interface designs, and development of internal and
external checks and controls to ensure proper governance, security and
quality of information assets.
Skills and Credentials:

·         At least ten years of data warehouse development experience in

·         Mastery skills within the ER/Studio data modeling tool (or

·         Extensive experience with EDW implementation of 10+ TB Databases.
Well versed with Inmon/Kimball methodologies among other DW principles.

·         Experience with Informatica’s Power Center is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Work the team to Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions via
Cognos 8 Report Studio, Analysis Studio and Transformer for the various
Business Units

·         Work closely with the internal functional team members to support
product and reporting requirements (e.g. product review, product upgrades
and product optimization)

·         Propose solutions for gaps between business requirements and tool
capabilities

·         Oversee the programming in SQL to perform data query functions

Mandatory Requirements

·         3+ years of overall Cognos experience developing BI content using
Cognos 8 including PowerPlay/Transformer 7.1 or higher

·         2+ years’ experience with Oracle SQL and relational databases,
particularly writing complex SQL to validate reports and tuning Reports to
SQL query performance.,

·         Experience in OLAP server technology designing data models,
metadata, cubes and drill-thru reports.

·         Highly motivated individual with very good analytical and
problem-solving skills that can work at a detail and macro level.

·         Some Management experience overseeing development teams.

·         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment
- multi-tasking, prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines in a timely
manner.

·         Working knowledge of BI concepts and data warehousing concepts
