*Job title:* *Quality Assurance Analyst* *Location: Bloomington, MN* *Duration: 3-6 months Contract* *Job Description* *Responsibilities* 1. Develops test plan to include scope of tests (regression, system, acceptance), test strategies, test schedule and testing resources (people, hardware, software) needed. Provide input into testing activities and the overall schedule based on effort. Develops test cases, test scripts, and test data. Clearly defines testing inputs and expected test results. 2. Perform regression testing to validate previous implemented functionality is not impacted. Monitors test progress and report any schedule variances; monitors testing results to assure appropriate test coverage and to assure all testing is completed prior to sign off by the clients and before promotion to the Production environment. 3. Develop and maintain reusable automated tests within the Selenium software. 4. Documents test results. Report testing metrics (number of test cases run/against number of anticipated test cases), work with developers to resolve testing issues, and report progress of testing against schedule outlined in the test plan. Ensure proper storage and retrieval of testing artifacts within a shared project directory to include test plans, use cases, test scripts, test procedures and test data. 5. Work after regular business hours as needed to assist with overall testing efforts. This includes periodic week night deployments and monthly weekend deployments. *Education:* · Bachelors Degree in MIS or related field · CSTE or CSQA *Skills:* · 5 years experience of Quality Assurance (QA) & testing strategies to support functional and non-functional software and systems testing. · 5 years experience planning, designing, building and executing Test Plans. · 5 years experience in planning, designing, and building integration, system, and user acceptance tests. · 5 years hands-on experience developing test cases from business design & technical specification · 5 years experience using a formal testing & tracking tools focused on developing automated tests and reusable testing components, building manual test cases, and tracking system requirements to test cases and execution results. · 2 years experience with Selenium automated testing tools.
