*Job Title: Sr. Hadoop DeveloperWork Location: Denver, CODuration: 6+ Months* *Job Description:*The ideal candidate must have a strong development background in big data ecosystem with a heavy focus on hadoop. This role will focus on designing and developing extract, load and CDC processes for global business intelligence team. Tool set includes our on-premise Cloudera instance, Pig, Hive, DMX-H, scoop, and Oozie scripting. *Required Skills:*• Strong background in development operations • Experience using Syncsort DMX-H • Ability to design, develop, performance troubleshooting using DMX-H and Cloudera • Good understanding of Map Reduce jobs and performance optimization. • Configuring and troubleshooting Hadoop – preferably Cloudera • Work with infrastructure team in tuning and optimizing Hadoop Nodes • Helping/guiding existing team on Hadoop & DMX-H best practices. • Implement best practices for data ingestion from multiple data sources into Hive and extracts from Hive into Global Data Warehouse *Preferred Skills:*• Working knowledge of Oozie • Working knowledge of Python • Data warehouse background especially experience with tools like Informatica is a plus • Some experience working in agile environment. *Mandatory Skills:*Heavy focus on hadoop, Syncsort DMX-H, Cloudera.
