*Locations: **Alpharetta, GA, 30004* *Duration: 6 months Contract * *Responsibilities: * • This is a Java/J2EE Application support position and requires 4 to 5 years of Java/J2EE developer skills with application support experience. • Experience in Build, Deploys, configuring JMS, Webservices, JNDI, DB Pool, Websphere and Oracle database. • Responsible for monitoring all application support activities for backend IT applications including trouble shooting, performance monitoring, recommendation of resolution, installation and script/code writing • Tests, debugs, documents, and installs new applications and programs and work closely with development, infrastructure and DBAs. • Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality • Monitor program execution for expected performance • On-call rotation to support High Availability system. • Respond to errors and emergencies within applications and programs • Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications • Debugging the code, troubleshooting and finding the root cause. • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of databases and systems • Support for production and non-production environments • Work on issues/tickets reported by Business teams based on predefined SLAs • Very good understanding on Development life cycle, build and deployment process. • Very good knowledge in Unix, Batch process, watching the log files • Experience in root cause analysis, problem solving, issue tracking, performance improvement and support • Excellent communication skills to be able to work with internal and external teams • Provide updates to management when needed for outage/escalations. Required skills: • 4 year degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience • 4+ years of Java, JEE/J2EE (Websphere preferred), Spring, Camel, Hibernate, JSP, Servlet, WebSphere. • Linux/Unix knowledge for troubleshooting using logs • Strong experience in relational database structures, particularly SQL and Oracle PL*SQL Requirements • Excellent SQL knowledge to query complex table using indexes/hints • Experience in configuration and development using MQSeries Additional skills: Additional experience in Billing, provisioning, Wireless industry is a plus. • Additional experience in Java, Websphere, SAO and web based applications is also a plus XML-RPC Server ,Log4j • Knowledge of WILY, SPLUNK or other monitoring tools are a plus • Some Unix command and scripting skills XML schema changes and testing XML DOM and SAX parsers Java Socket development Distributed RMI *Primary Skill: Production Support Analyst to support Wholesale, VES, LRA* Thanks and Regards, Azhar Ansari I Talent Acquisition Bravens Inc. 14900 Conference Center Drive, Suite #230, Chantilly, VA-20151.
