Out of town will be 2-3 phone interviews. Skype is not an option* *Comments: Local/Regional candidates are preferred. Citizens, Green Card or EAD status are preferred, but will consider all qualified candidates.* *Project: *Backend conversion project from Sybase to SQL Server. *Responsibilities / Task:* Organize, assist, facilitate and participate in assigned project development activities. Communicate technical development, status reports, along with coding and deployment activities. Analyzes, develops and implements coding updates to .NET applications based on project specifications. Performs SQL Server database schema updates necessitated by coding enhancements. Unit tests modules written to ensure proper functionality. Manage code deployments and maintain development timelines of the project. Document and communicate overall technical development team status to project manager and implementation manager. Must have a valid Driver’s License issued from the state of residency and able to use own automobile and have all liability and other automobile insurance as required by law. *Required Skills:* 10 or more years of custom application programming and technical end user support, with at least 3 years of Microsoft .Net application experience. .Net architecture and advanced database concepts required. Very important - WCF, WPF, MVVM, LINQ Highly Desired – MVC and T-SQL Microsoft SQL Server database, version 2008 or higher required. Microsoft ClickOnce deployments a plus. Key to this position is TFS controlled software development life cycle experience Writing use cases and creating object models required. Both front and back end application development. Internet development frameworks, security and third party tools preferred. EXCELLENT verbal and written, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with a diverse group of members, but also independently according to specific tasks. Must be competent in the use of Internet Development tools and techniques, specifically Microsoft .Net competencies. *Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Technology or equivalent combination of experience and education. Educational background in management information systems technology is desirable. Consultant works in a normal office environment.
