*Description: *
Position summary & key areas of responsibility:
SOA Architect is a strategic and essential part of the application
deployment team. Client has adopted SOA as its key integration strategy for
how it connects with its customer and internal applications.
The Architect will help shape this vision for Client IT and be a key
architect of business transformation.
The Architect will work directly with the customers and solution architects
to design SOA integration framework that would be highly available,
efficient, and reusable.
Utilizing industry knowledge and experience, the architect will drive the
adoption of SOA based integration to the enterprise.
*Key Areas of Responsibility include: *
Architect SOA based integration using Oracle SOA Suite with high
availability, simplicity, and reusability as key components.
Collaborate with customers, both internal and external, enabling them to
understand the benefits of SOA based integration.
Take ownership of design and development specifications of projects and
guide offshore and onshore developers throughout the development and
delivery process.
Serve as a liaison between members of upper management, various project
managers, and development teams.
This position has significant impact on the success of the next generation
integration platform at Client.
Lead, coach and develop development resources Reports directly to the
Manager of Enterprise Integration.
Limited travel.
*Basic Qualifications *
Minimum 5 years of experience as a SOA developer or Architect.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware products.
Minimum 5 years developing development and design specification for complex
projects.
In-depth experience and understanding of the Service Oriented Architecture.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including establishing
credibility and trust with partners and building influential relationships
with the stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent Strong Communication
