*Customer: *WWT (World Wide Technologies) *Location: *On site located in San Diego, CA (3 individuals) or Menlo Park, CA (2 individuals) *Duration: *6 month minimum *Description:* Highly motivated, self-sufficient individual that can take direction from customer to: • Plan, Design and Implement complex projects with minimal supervision • Datacenter Networking, Cisco Nexus 7K/5K/2K expertise • WAN experience with Cisco ASR router experience • BGP routing expertise • Amazon AWS experience a plus • F5 LTM/GTM experience a plus • CCIE with minimum of 7 years of experience (3-5 years exp in the Data Center) Detailed JD: *Job Description* - Implement and support new network technologies in our hybrid and cloud environments - Perform software and hardware upgrades in a production data center while minimizing downtime - Assist with implementing monitoring and alerting across all network devices - Improve MTTR by using highly skilled troubleshooting methodologies within the Data Center environment - Partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence - Review and analyze network change requests and represent the team in incident and problem management situations - Assist Engineering with evaluating new and emerging network products and technologies - As a strong thought leader, clearly communicate and build support for your ideas. - Proactively identify gaps, risks and issues and navigates organizational structure to resolve them. - Develop workflows, process and programmable automation procedures *Qualifications* · Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of related experience in a high-capacity, high-impact online environment - 5+ years in implementing and supporting expansive cloud and hybrid-cloud networks - 5+ years of working with routing protocols including OSPF and BGP (IGP/EGP) - 5+ years of implementing various WAN technologies including MPLS. - Successful Spine and Leaf topology implementations a plus - Experience managing IPSEC VPN encryption platforms and policies - Knowledge in traditional and software-defined (SECaaS) firewall platforms including policy implementation and capacity management - Working knowledge of the following vendor specific technologies; F5 BigIP/LTM/GTM, Cisco Nexus routing/switching (ACI/9K a plus), Juniper MX switches and SRX security appliances, Cisco ASA devices - Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex n-tier web applications - Experience with low-level infrastructure testing, performance analysis and troubleshooting tool - Expert knowledge TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, operating systems, virtualization and applications data flows - In depth knowledge on configuring and optimizing Network device monitoring and alerting - Certifications in one or more of the following: CCIE, CISSP and CCNP - In-depth knowledge of modern and trending network monitoring and administration tools - Understanding of network security policy implementation and how to manage design and support of network environments to maintain policy integrity - Experience with Juniper MX type devices (JUNOS) - Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction or supervision - Proven ability to manage large, highly visible infrastructure projects to completion - Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
