*Job Description::*
This person needs to do a phone screen then come in for a face to face
interview in Boston.
Senior Architect to build its Software as a Service (SaaS) line of products
on the cloud using big data technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the CTO and executive management team to understand
the corporate vision and develop overall architectural vision based on the
current and future needs
- Successfully communicate, evangelize and implement the architectural
vision across teams and products
- Responsible for overarching product/platform architecture and make
sure that design and development of all projects follow the architectural
vision
- Move Company’s products to a fully Self-Service SaaS based model where
the client or a third-party company would be setting up and managing the
products
- Provide technical leadership and direction to multiple software
development teams on projects with a high level of complexity
- Provide technical direction to cross-functional project teams, in
different geographies, during the development and implementation of major
initiatives
- Solve problems as they arise and coach the engineering team members to
do the same
- Own technical responsibility of meeting the service level agreements
and no-functional product requirements such as system performance,
concurrency and scale. Responsible for building and maintaining frameworks
for unit-testing, internationalization, logging, messaging and monitoring.
- Identify the opportunities for innovation and seize such opportunities
for the benefit of company goals
- Define, measure, track, report and improve the metrics of success
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in senior architectural roles for SaaS based
product development
- 10+ years of experience in software product development
- 3+ years of experience in digital advertising/marketing technology
filed
- Masters in Computer Science or similar. PhD in Science or similar is
desirable
- Strong software architectural skills to develop enterprise, n-tier,
and SaaS software systems
- Experience with Web/Mobile Ad-Servers, DSPs, DMPs, Programmatic
Ad-Exchanges, Tag Management Systems, Cross Device Tracking or Run Time
Bidding systems a plus.
- Strong in Cloud Technologies, Big Data and Hadoop. Database/SQL
programming using databases such as Netezza, VoltDB, Postgress, and/or
Amazon Web Services
- Strong Experience in programming languages such as Java, User
Interface development languages such as JavaScript, HTML5 and user
interface architectural frameworks
- Experience in Marketing Analytics, Marketing Measurement, Attribution
and/or Marketing Optimization
- Experience in statistical modeling, market mix modeling, and/or R
programming would be a plus
- Strong experience agile methodologies and other SDLC processes
- Passion for highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction
- Software Engineering Management experience is a plus
