This is in reference to the following position. ***** Please find below job description if you feel comfortable please revert with updated resume, Rate and contact details ASAP ***** *Role: **Tableau Administrator* *Location: **Reston VA(Need Local)* *Duration: **6months Contract to Hire or Fulltime * *Client : **Group of Microsoft * Visa status: H1B Transfer or H1B or GC or USC or TN Visa No OPT *Tableau Administrator* Reston, Virginia, United States • IT App Development *Description* Reporting directly to the Sr Director of Business Intelligence, the Tableau Administrator contributes to Specialists on Call's Business Intelligence team based in our Reston, VA headquarters. The position is responsible for BI Application/ Platform administration and support, including report development, data management/ quality, and project management and support. We are willing to provide additional training and development in Tableau to the right candidate with the base skills and knowledge required. To successfully perform the role, candidates should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities: • In-depth knowledge of Tableau, including the ability to build and maintain operational level dashboards • Knowledge of Tableau Server administration and management • MS Windows system operations (user maintenance, basic file and system security, Active Directory basics) • MS Windows command-line execution, batch file scripting • Knowledge in database querying and database access: SQL skills with the ability to create SQL views and write free-form SQL queries • Ability to perform basic data extraction, data manipulation via text, CSV and Excel files • Must have the ability to recognize and extract data patterns using a variety of techniques • Must be able to generate standard reports and execute reporting automation where needed • Ability to analyze data integrity issues and collaborate with data owners to assist in process improvement efforts *Requirements* *EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:* • 4+ years of experience in Tableau visual reporting and dashboard building • 4+ years of experience in Tableau server operations (installation, administration, TABCMD scripting) • Knowledge of principles of design and best practices for data visualization • Junior skillset of data extraction/manipulation via SQL *EDUCATION REQUIRED:* • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in one of the following: Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:* • 5+ years of experience as a data analyst with an emphasis on data visualization and automating/scripting data operations • Experience in integrating Tableau with Web portals and applications• • Proven ability to lead process improvements efforts to enhance data and reporting quality for clients • Experience working in high growth healthcare or manufacturing company • Experience in system management/administration • Experience with DevOps operations Benefits As part of its total compensation strategy, Specialists On Call provides its employees with a comprehensive benefits package.
