This role is an add-on to the Support center and looking for someone who take pride in their craft to play key roles in the formation of this center. In this role, you will work closely with all Key stake holders, the business teams and the development teams, helping them to run their products smoothly in global data centers. The role goes way beyond just overseeing the production environments. We are looking for technologists who have come from a strong Infrastructure and IT Operations management background, who love to solve problems with technology, and who can own the relationship to discuss, design, and refine the solutions that will add value. The role will report directly to global Director of Support Services. *Job Description: * The IT Operations Manager will be hands-on and will oversee all IT Operations deliverables and projects in an enterprise 24x7 support environment Manage a direct team of engineers in multiple locations that will maintain business applications: Uptime/ Reliability/ Quality Ensure that IT systems and applications are running optimally and are monitored 24x7 Support internal systems and applications by ensuring efficient processes and documentation exist and are maintained. Assist in the transition of all systems and applications into an IT Ops Framework - Documentation of SLA’s/ Maintenance Windows/ Escalation Procedures. Ensure processes align with ITIL guidelines and follow established Change Management procedures. Build / Maintain IT service catalog of all supported applications and associated SLAs. *Manage application lifecycles: * Regular Patch Management / Upgrades / Break-Fix. Change Management / Configuration Management / Problem Management / Availability Management / Alert & Event Management /Incident Management. Maintain strong relationships with IT & Business Partners: review metrics & benchmarks, align SLAs, priorities & process improvements efforts. Service-level reporting: Availability / Incidents / SLA’s IT service / continuity management plans, align with business tolerance. Provide appropriate service-level reporting, including Availability, Incidents, SLAs, and other metrics as required. Maintain appropriate IT service and continuity management plans that align with business tolerance. *Role Competencies: * Bachelor of Science in computer science or BA in Management Information Systems (MIS) and at least 7 years’ experience in Information Technology. Comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology, hardware and software. 5 years’ management and strategic experience in this field. Extensive experience in supporting the foundation for large-scale applications and basic IT services. Demonstrated experience in working with external consultants, strategic partners, suppliers, and various service providers to ensure that the business requirements are met. Strong understanding of ITIL practices and standards. Strong understanding of Security industry standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and Strong leadership skills and experience managing a direct team of engineers (remotely and locally) and operating multiple collocations nationwide.
