Seriously, we are currently in discussion with a group of JDBC folks about the issues of licensing and testing of our driver, due to the release of the Merlin final and the upcoming J2EE/J2ME dependencies on the new JDBC 3. This probably won't make it into this upcoming release, but we should be working on more extensive development of our drivers and connectivity in the next. Any developers who have experience with the JDBC and JDBC development, testing or licensing issues are invited to chime in here. Meanwhile, Mark, if you post a request for support on the Tracker at: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=23316&atid=378132 I'll bet you lunch you'll see a follow-up from Fred or Campbell (or maybe sqlbob himself), and may find they are already working on extending the JDBC driver for the v.1.7 release to add this functionality (no guarantees, though).
