Hello, Mark

(doesn't work) We know this, it's because the 'Webshop' site is defunct (I
think) and our hosts at SourceForge have asked us to try to conserve
bandwidth and directory space. It works from the 1.61 download (on the
Files page in the Project Site at http://sourceforge.net/projects/hsqldb
(most of the time, on most platforms/JVMs)). We're currently working on new
demos both for the on-line docs and the demos in the download.

The old site is left over from the original author's (Thomas Mueller) Swiss
Hypersonic Development Group, before he dissolved it and began his new
project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/newsql/ We kept the demos in, to
preserve Thomas' work and because we were bug fixing and patching, not
docing...something we hope to solve in the coming 1.7.0 release. BTW, the
numbering system has a similar story.

I think you're complaining about errors in and lack of clear documentation.
Believe me, you're not the only complainant. Its DEFINITELY is something we
are paying attention to and hope we go a long way in solving with the coming
release. Please keep in touch and let us know what you think.
