A release candidate for version 1.7.1 (hsqldb_1_7_1_RC1) is on the file download section.
Version 1.7.1 will be a maintenance release to fix the reported bugs and problems with version 1.7.0. The release of version 1.7.1 is expected on 16 September. This version will not have any new functionality, just fixes and improvements to documentation. Users and developers are invited to test the release candidate in the next two weeks and report any findings. . We will not make any changes to the RC1 code unless it is necessary for fixing a problem.
