I am pleased to welcome Blaine Simpson, Ulrich Vollert and Nicholas Ferguson as developers. Blaine has contributed SSL support to the project and is working on a Solaris package for version 1.7.1. Ulrich has contributed enhancements to Database Manager and will continue this work. As a Zaurus developer, he will also help with handheld platforms. Nicholas added some enhancements to Database Manager which are now on the CVS.
The missing Linux scripts for server startup and shutdown are now on the hsqldb-dev module of the CVS. These were updated and sent by David Fu earlier today.
