I use pscp just for very simple things. 
For example, I use this batch file to upload the LDBC docs:
pscp -r htdocs [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/home/groups/l/ld/ldbc

So far, I didn't write any new docs, I just changed 
the stylesheet (mainly). I will now commit my changes. 
After than, and I hope you are ok with that, is 
convert the 'free floating' docs to the docbook format:

doc/hsqlFindFile.html
doc/hsqlSoftwareLinks.html
