No. As Gilles said, the changes should be pretty minimal. Besides, we 
should most *definitely* never turn away an interested developer, 
especially because they "don't have the right tools."

Besides, portability is a good sign in code.

So let's clean up the lexer code and I'll make sure the snapshots 
touch the files to be safe.
