Well, it's sort of a good-news, bad-news situation. The good news is that
the rearrangement code is correct. :-) This makes me feel a bit better
since I didn't see the bug in my tests or the careful look-through.
The bad news is that I'm still having problems reproducing it and no one
else seems to be reporting the same bug. I'm still working on it though.
