Hi guys, thanks to the work of my friend and colleague David Lippi at the Comune di Prato, we currently have a slightly better version of the RTF2HTML application.
We encountered indeed some problems with character sets handling and we decided to implement a run-time behaviour of switching to the right charset depending on the RTF contents. At the moment we have implemented two charsets: windows and mac, although we may need users' feedback to improve it. Our problem now regards the license, as we modified the code written by Chuck Shotton and Dmitry Potapov. There seemed not to be any license with Shotton's code, whereas Potapov added a 'BSD-style' license (without including it in the tarball). We'd love to release our code freely. Any suggestion? Could we include it in the contrib directory?
