According to Juergen Peus: > i'm trying to use htsearch to find the string 'miles & more' but it says > theres a sytax error :-/. Is it possible to search for '&' and find it > eg. in the string/phrase 'miles & more'?? What is the syntax error message, and what version are you running? In 3.1.5, I only get a syntax error if I select boolean, but then this isn't a boolean expression. 3.1.5 also doesn't support phrase searching. If you're using a 3.2 beta, be warned that it is a beta, and therefore likely still buggy. Be sure you're running the latest snapshot of 3.2.0b3, and if you still get the error, let us know again. There have been other errors reported with the phrase searching, but there are some pretty major changes to the query parser that are slated for 3.2.0b4, which will hopefully address some of these problems better than we can in the current (upcoming) beta release. -- Gilles R.
