Hi all,
I was trying out the MySQL patch for htdig 3.1.5, and it seems to work
ok for exact searches, but not for fuzzy searches. I got "endings" to
work ok with a few code changes, but it looks like "soundex" and
"metaphones" have not been implemented.
Is there anyone out there who's put any thought into this and could pass
some ideas on to me?
I was hoping to use MySQL, so I could integrate the htdig results with
some other data that my client wants to keep.
FWIW, I've also hacked up a simple Python version of htsearch, which
returns the list of results as Python objects.
