You cannot have the templates anyplace other than where htsearch is
run. You can certainly index using htdig on server A, transfer the
databases over and then run htsearch (and the templates) on server B.
The caveat here is that the databases are platform-dependent and
transferring them across platforms is often difficult (or impossible).
