I can reach this site using the latest version of LYNX, version 2.8.3,
but I can't index this site using htdig 3.2.0.b3-xxx. Does this mean
that there is a problem with the HTTP protocol that htdig speaks?

I haven't been able to see the server's error log because, although this
server belongs to my University, I have no access to it. I'm trying to
contact the server admin to see the logs...

However, can I index old web servers using the newest version of htdig?
If they don't speak HTTP/1.1, maybe I'm in a trouble 8-)

On the other hand, is there a conf. attribute that permits me score
pages using a 'proximity factor' between the words I'm searching?

Thanks a lot.
