This may be a silly question, but are you setting your search method to
boolean when you do this? If your method is "and" or "or", then you're not
really doing a boolean search and I think your "AND" is just getting parsed
out of the query string. My boolean searches using AND correctly returns
only docs with instances of both words, so double check your method value
and see if that helps.
Good luck.

Subject: [htdig] boolian expressions
When I enter the expression -- breathing 'AND' practice -- i am getting
results for "breathing practice" "breathing" and "practice". I thought the
AND was intended to restrict the search to those instances where both terms
occured. Do I have it wrong, or is there something wrong with my setup?
Best Wishes!
