Hi,
I've had the same problem once. In my case, some duff web
page builder had accidently put in a lame comment tag like
<!this is comment>
Htdig of course, followed the HTML rules set out by the W3
group, and cut out the complete tag!
On itself this is not a problem, but most of the hyperlink
were put after the lame comment tag and not seen by htdig.
