I'm not sure how to do it directly in htsearch, but I'd think you could do
it just with your webserver configuration.  On apache, within your
<Directory> tags for your cgi-bin dir, youd have to add Includes to the
Options line.  Then you'd probably want to rename your htsearch cgi to
something like "htsearch.scgi" and add an "AddHandler server-parsed .scgi"
to your httpd.conf file.  Haven't tried it, but I think that would do the
trick.
