Hi Folks,
Just installed htdig. No problems, and everything seems straight forward
except for one thing - rundig.
All the docs and reference materials I've found so far refer specifically to
the htXXXXX files (ie. htdig, htmerge, htnotify, etc.) except in the
installation guide where you're told to use "rundig" to create your test
database.
My question here is, what exactly is the purpose of the "rundig" program?
>From what I can tell from htdig program reference page
(http://www.htdig.org/htdig.html) I can just enter "htdig" on the server to
create or update the index database (that's what rundig does as well, no?)
Are there certain occasions where I should only use "rundig" and others
where I should use "htdig"?
