Check your syslog.conf file. htsearch logs as the LOG_LOCAL5 facility,
at the LOG_INFO level.
If you can't get that working, you can always make your search forms use
the GET method, rather than POST, and then grab the information you want
from the GET /cgi-bin/htsearch requests logged in your web server log files.
