Classic problem it seems like from what I saw on the archives.
But anyway, I have htdig setup on a Solaris box with Apache.
Configuration and installation went fine, and the digging process itself
seems to work fine, if I look in the db.wordlist it seems right with lots of
words indexed.
However, Im still getting this error.
Saw some people saying the webserver user had to have write privs to the db
files, tried it quickly by simply setting 777 access rights to the files
temporarily, no luck :(
If anyone could help out with this I'd really appreciate it.
BTW the config is as follows:
base dir is /usr/local/htdigand the db, conf, bin and common dirs are
located there.
The docs dir is under /usr/local/htdig/htdocs/htdig, and the CGI itself is
in /usr/local/htdig/htdocs/cgi-bin.
For the site, these two dirs are aliased to /htdig and /htdig-cgi
respectively.
htdig version is 3.1.5.
