Does 3.2.x support HTTPS?
The patch didnt seem to work...

At the moment, the 3.1.x (and prior) releases only work with HTTP.

For HTTPS, there is a patch, available through the patch archive:

<ftp://ftp.ccsf.org/htdig-patches/3.1.5/>

You will want the ssl.X patch (where X is the current version, I 
believe 4 at the moment).
